Hypertherm D80 Cant connect to host computer

Hello,
we have recently purchased a Koike Duct cutter with a Hypertherm D80 unit on it. Currently Running predator CNC editor for my DNC but can't get the computer to communicate with the unit. I have checked all my settings on the COM port and the controller and they are matching. I know it used to use a program called Link to communicate with a host computer, but I was wondering if there was a way to get to a ReadTape setting, we did this on our other plasma, to send the G-code to it. I am not sure what the hang up is or what the next step would be. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Looks like regular troubleshooting of serial communication. Is it RS232?

checked all my settings on the COM port and the controller and they are matching

check once again. Check the cable. Perform test using two PC's.
