I guess I would be having a conversation with Premier Plasma. But a friend of mine solved (more or less) this on another brand machine by grounding the work piece.
We recently bought a Premier Plasma table and we're fighting lots of EMI issues which were ultimately alleviated by grounding the cutting bed and running an EMI shield over the torch lead. It seemed like everything was working great until I tried to cut out my first large piece (roughly 4 feet long). It cut 75% of the piece and then the lines starting getting slight curves and were too long. This resulted in the ending cut not lining up with where the cut started. Overall about an inch off. Although, right after this happened I ran the same path with the torch off and it ran the path perfectly. Could it still be EMI? The side of the part that was messed up was on the side of the cutting bed that didn't have the grounding strap close to it. Could it be that my ground strap connected to the cutting table isn't getting all of the interference out across the entire table? Any help is appreciated, thanks in advanced!
