    Question Macro alarm.... storm 210 clausing cnc lathe

    Im not sure if my post processor is incorrect or its in the machine. I use gibbs cam and found a post for my lathe in post haste it seems to be putting out the right codes but it give me a macro alarm not sure why or what that is ?

    yes i can post the program fine i single block it and the first thing it does is rapid back to home position(not normal to me) then it turns the spindle on and then the macro alarm comes on.

    can you send me a copy of program or post on here I suspect your post is outputting incorrect code

    I finally figures it out. Its putting a (f5000.) for some reason i deleted it from the program in notepad and it ran just fine. Do I have to delete that off every program i write or is there a way to get that off of there.

    Only if you change the tool change sequence and tell it you're running in feed per rev
