    Default Anilam offline 3000m and Win7 64b

I've converted to WIn7 64bit and trying to get my Anilam offline SW to run again. First I got the 16bit not supported error, so I loaded up the WinXP mode and that seems to work, but now when I run the Anilam offline it says it can't initialize my graphics card to full screen. Setting The WinXP virtual OS to full screen first does not help.

Anyone have any recipes that allow Anilam 3000m offline to run in Win 7?

    Thanks.

    Default Methods

I use 2 different programs both works in different ways.

The first one is free and though a little hecky I think it is best. Do search for DosBox.

The second one is VMware it was also free. Once you install it you have to install XP in it's virtual machine that it creates. So you have two operating systems using one computer. Hopefully not at the same time. :-) It does work OK but I'm just not as comfortable with it.

Install a program called DosBox. You can download it here... DOSBox, an x86 emulator with DOS

Then you need to configure it to make it easy to run the Anilam offline program.

Go to "Start" button and then "All Programs"
Find "DOSBox-0.xx" program folder and click it to open
Then click on the "Options" folder
Then click on "DOSBox 0.xx Options"
Note: if it doesn't open and asks you to select a program, pick "Notepad"
When that opens, scroll to the bottom and you'll see [Autoexec] section
    Add the lines below

    mount c c:\p3m
    c:
    runcnc.bat

    Save the file
Now run the icon on your desktop named "DOSBox 0.xx"

That worked with a few modifications.

There is no folder in my start/All Programs path for DOSbox. Just a single executable not in a folder.

The file: C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\DOSBox\dosbox-0.74.conf is the file I had to add the Autoexec lines to.

When it comes up Anilam complains about unknown drive type (CDS), cannot perform disk check on C: Press f10 to continue.

After pressing f10 it seems to be happy.

    Thanks for this!

Offline should not be looking for a controller board. Are you sure you are running the offline version?
