    Default Speeding-up 775 motor from 12v power

    Hi, guys !

This is my first post here and I am glad to join your community.
I would like to get some advice on how to force my 775 motor on T8 CNC machine to rotate faster.

I have SVEN PU-600AN (see photo) which gives enough power (480W /40A) for spindel and steppers, but limited to only 12V. To increase rotation speed I would like to step-up the voltage without losing the power. I see many DC/DC 12V/24V converters on the market, but they are very expensive (compared to my T8), so I am looking for optimal solution.

    Any suggestions, please !
    Thanks in advance.

The simplest way is to use a 24vac transformer, use a bridge rectifier and a 200uf capacitor on the output. This will give you ~+30vdc to the motor, which is close to its limit.

Thank you for reply, I have seen something similar and ready to use, but I am afraid that it has no enough power:

Beeng software developer, I am not familiar with electronics, so some concrete schematics can help me a lot.

If you know how to put one together, this is the circuit.
