The transformers are likely being used as buck or boost transformers. Best guess, most likely as boost to bring 208 V up to 230 V.

Hello, I have a shizuoka AN-S that had some of the electrical components disconnected before I purchased it and I am suspicious some things may have been hooked back up incorrectly before I purchased it. This is how I see the power input right now. It comes in from a cord and goes through a throw box with 3 very large fuses inside. It leaves the throw box and goes to a contactor, then from the contactor it goes to 2 single phase transformers that are hooked together. I am having trouble reading the wire labels so not exactly sure how these transformers are hooked up together but I am worried that this is incorrect altogether as I believe I should have 3 phase power and these are single phase transformers with 12v and 24v output. The transformer outputs then go to a wire connector block and are clearly labeled L1 L2 and L3. From there the power goes to a large electronic device labeled as a motor starter. I will add pictures to help make things more clear. Any help will be much appreciated thank you all.
