Default Help setting up Hall effect sensors on Mach3 BOB CNC

    SYSTEM: Mach3, BOB C25S, Gecko G540 driver
3 Axis, Y Master and Y Slave (left and right Ballscrews)

Trying to set up Hall Effect Sensors [HES] as Homing and Limit switches. I can find all kinds of information on Arduino systems wiring, but not on standard Mach3 systems.

The HES I’m trying to set up is a 5V unit. Photo below showing how I wired it up for the below test.

Ports and Pins, X Home, Port 2 pin 10, CHECKED Active low, Applied and saved setup.

Configure wiring on BOB, turn Control box on, activate the 2010 Screenset.

The reset light in lower right corner is on, I press the RESET on the top right of screen, the lower corner light goes off. So far all looks normal.

I move a magnet within 1/16” of the HES and don’t see a reset that I expected, turned magnet over and moved it closer to the HES and again no reset.

Went back into Ports and Pins and UNCHECKED the active low, applied and saved setup.

Again moving both sides of the magnet within 1/16” of the HES and no reset.

    What am I doing wrong?

How is the electronics of the input port where you intend to connect the output of your hall sensor?

I had used the same port and pin for testing with a micro switch and it worked perfectly.
    Thanks
