Sorry Al I found my mistake. The blade is installed the right way BUT I used the wrong blade!

I thought all blades were the same but I was wrong, I used a small 7” blade from a Skill saw but when I checked the 10” blades I have for the miter saw I noticed the teeth were the opposite way. So installing the 10” blade now the motor turn the right way. I apologize for wasting your time

Now I’m not clear with the Bridge wiring and the details you sent shows one (+) and 3 (-) connections which is confusing for me. I made another schematic, pls let me know if it’s correct.

If you refer to the Vishay sheet I posted you will see two diagonal corners marked with a tilde or AC symbol (~) , this is the pair that come from the AC supply or Triac controller (N & L).
The two opposite corners are marked + and - and these go out to the motor pair .

Thanks for been so patient Al. My unit does not have a corner notched at the base like on the sheet you posted and this is another reason I’m more confused and I must make sure I understand it all before proceeding with the actual wiring.

I see the corners marked with a tilde (~) but which one is the BLK or WHT or perhaps makes no difference?

So I made another diagram and “hopefully” that is ok

If you have the right terminals for each pair, the respective terminals don't matter.
    Your DWG appears right.
Bring it up slow at first to ensure that it will work OK.

Nothing smoked Al but I noticed no difference with the Bridge Rectifier installed, that’s below about 2000RPM the router control does nothing which is fine with me.

Unless you have a different opinion, I will remove the Bridge Rectifier and use only the router control.

Thanks so much for the excellent help

If no difference then no point I guess.
