That would do it. Any Off Delay relay with the proper voltage and time range would do it.
I've got a Colombo spindle that has a 220v fan that is independently powered from the spindle motor itself.
Per the manual, the fan should be on at all times. That seems to be a bit of overkill, at least in a non-production environment.
I'd like to trigger the spindle fan to come on when the VFD powers up the spindle and delay the shutdown of the fan for a few (5-10) minutes after the VFD powers down the spindle to allow for cooling.
Is a timer relay what I need? Something like a Wieland KZT 510 K??
