Man, I am having a really good experience with the circuit design of a laser controller. I have been using eagle software which is rock solid. I used it to output a description of all the wire networks. I wrote a perl program that parsed the wire networks file from Eagle, and combined it with the locations of the chip positions on my wire wrap board. The perl program outputs a file of the networks as wirewrap locations on my board, and I had the same program create a drawing that shows the chips.
This file is the eagle formatted file. Remember, the software is free. Eagle writes eps files, which I converted to pdf using illustrator.
The blue tape marks are placeholders for chip positions which correspond to the boxes in the drawing.
I know, its not much to look at, I have yet to actually wire the damn thing. I'll start on that tonight. But as far as software support goes, these are good times.
