Default Mach 3 control of printer

I am looking for information with regards to using Mach 3 to control a 3d printer. I am
starting a build and am in the design phase looking for information to use Mach to control
    4 axis (x , y, z, A ).
The 4th axis will be used to drive the extruder.
If anyone could direct me to a source of information would be appreciated.

    Thank you
    Johnd

In my opinion it is better to build it with a real 3D printer controller. That way you can also use an SD card to transfer the files and there are plenty free resources to use. You will have issues with controlling the heat also with Mach, as well as the fans. It is not just 4 steppers you need to handle, 3D printing is more complicated and Mach is not made for that purpose.
