The Dremel is a Universal motor and as such can be noise suppressed to some extent by fitting a RC 'snubber' as close to the motor leads as possible.

Good luck with that you need to show him what to do, they already have a snubber-built in.

Thanks Al_the Man. This is good information. When I eventually upgrade my machine, I will have to do this. I will run the program today with the dremmel on, and see if there is any interference while running.

You and Mactac54 have been very helpful.

Another thing that could alleviate the issue is to replace the Dremel cord with shielded conductors and Earth the shield.
Triac control produces a lot of 'noise'

Why add more confusion, G49 and G44 is never needed, and especially with controls like what are being used, The M30 at the end of a program cancels any redundant offsets

Pay close attention to where the dremel cord is routed. Limit switch circuits can pick up electrical noise and send a false limit signal that puts the controller into an alert state. Don't let the cord run parallel to any of the cnc circuits or close to the controller. You might also try plugging the dremel into a separate power outlet.

If you haven't already, read and re-read this: https://github.com/winder/Universal-...der/wiki/Usage. After struggling through the initial learning curve of getting things running, I find it useful to go back and review because with experience under your belt, it all makes more sense. That's where you'll start tweaking your knowledge.

It sounds like you've gone down the gcode rabbit hole. Properly setting up the machine firmware, the UGS settings AND the CAD job settings should make your machine run flawlessly. It shouldn't be necessary to mess around with the gcode that your CAD software generates

    Hey All!

I wanted to say I made a sucessful cut!! It looks damn beautiful and I really appreciete all the help, I couldn't have done it with out your support. In regards to the dremel I mode it to another location, I think it was causing the table to vibrate and would trigger the alarm switches. It's super sensitve.

I'll be trying out more materials soon.

    Thanks again for everything!
