Lightbulb Writing Cutting Time to NC input file

    Hi there,

I added few lines at the start and end of my nc file to compute and store actual cutting time in a common variable (e.g. #520). I wonder is there any macro or gcode command to enable machine controller to write value of this variable to the end of my nc file? As I am looking for solution to record actual cutting time without having complicated data integration across different machine models and controllers.

    Thank you.

#3001 =0 [top of file sec counter reset )
#520=[#3001] records time from rest to 3 decimal places
    great for cycle time analyst
