CNC Masters Supra mill: unwanted Z movement by G03 lines
Hello. My friend has a Supra mill and we're learning how to use it. I've done a handful of small projects. This problem has probably been happening but i never noticed it. CAD/CAM with Fusion 360. Post processor i found on the Internet somewhere.
Seems like the G03 lines (all are in the XY plane) cause small movements in the Z axis, about 1/2 thou each. I think total movement was 6 thou. I'm guessing it's something in the controller software, but thought i'd ask anyway. I wrote a simple program by hand w/ a G03 in it and it worked fine. Should mention i stepped through the program line-by-line and it still had a problem. I tried slowing down the feedrate- no help.
Attached is code. "Lowest" Z is -.180. Running the program the Z will creep down to -.186ish.
Any help would be appreciated. Nothing mission critical, just would like to figure this out.
