Default Gcode to endlessly rotate C axis.

Ok so I have a system with UC400ETH that is running 3 steppers an a lathe, X, Z and C axis.
on C axis I can either connect the regular 3phase motor for conventional turning / facing etc. or the C axis for threading, indexing etc.
Also instead of a regular lathe cutting tool, I have sort of mounted a milling head on the tool post.

For some reason I need to do a test with the Caxis. So I need to keep rotating it endlessly.
While my X and Z axis are controller by the UC400ETH by Mach.

From what I read over its not possible with conventional G code since the controller will get stuck up at that line till the C axis completes the required number of rotations?
But from what I read they said it would be possible with some kind of M code
I hope someone shares some tricks on how to achieve this?

    Many thanks in advance!

Set it up as the spindle. Unless you need to use both together.

Now that's a fantastic idea, I just hope a stepper as spindle is supported in Mach. The last I saw it had a PWM out for spindle.

    Yes, Mach3 supports step/direction spindles.

So I have followed the guide in this link Control of spindle revolution speed using PWM or STEP/DIR signals - Audiohms
But I still can't get the Spindle stepper to move correctly.
It just makes some kind of rattling sound gets burning hot but no rotation of the motor at all, when I click the spindle button in the Lathe profile of Mach.

    Any suggestions would be apprecited!
