    Hello everybody

As we work in our firm with Inventor anyway, we are now considering getting InventorCAM?
To try it out I have downloaded a demo version and installed it in our Inventor 2011
First of all, do you also have so many crashes with your CAM software?

    Now my proper question:
I have small stainless steel wheels (d=65mm), that I have to process with an embossing on the lateral area.
For this job, I take a graver in a high speed spindle and a 4-axis.

But I don’t know how to make InventorCam engrave onto the lateral area and turn the part at the same time around the 4axis.
Or do I have to use the handling?

    Hello
Yes exactly, you need a 4 or 5x postprocessor and then you simply create a profile job.
With the geometry selection first select the function handling and then over multi-chain the fond.
The zero point should be positioned in the centre.

I don’t think it will work with the simply profile job.
The structure must be thinned and is almost 1mm deep.
