You can't delete the post, but you should be able to edit it. There's a button at the bottom of the window the post is in called, appropriately enough, "Edit Post."
I placed some posts on the ebay section on this forum a few days ago, and now I would like to either edit or delete the post completely since the ebay link is no longer accurate ( ebay listing has ended )

I'm finding that depending on what section of the forum will effect if you have the option of editing the post.
Here is a screen shot of one of my posts in the "ebay Ads Here" section... ( as you will see the edit option is missing )
but if I reply to my own post then it will give me the option to edit that reply post... but not the original one.
There's a time limit for editing.
