what is your situation now?
even if you delete the SRAM or not,the NC BASIC should load up on DRAM memory
It has a full keyboard.

Same thing, Will not load basic, I had a place email me a basic from a similar control but not exact and that didn’t work either. I think I’m going to need all the files from an exact control and load on my D-ram. I do have a memory copier so I can do that.

is it running now?
I will go check the keyboard.
If it is not running, take me the screen picture or video when power is on.
have you ever tried 8+9?
full keyboard is something like in the picture.
but not sure if it is the keyboard issue
Attachment 510704
Myabe your problem is in the D-RAM PCB where it is loading the basic NC files, try to change that also
it is an empty PCB,has nothing write on it,is just the RAM on a PC.
Like other say, make a video while boot up and also check the leds sequence on the mainboard are also very important to diagnose
I changed the d-ram and reloaded the files also
How do you add videos here?
It only boots to this screen.
what will happen if you press #9 key?
do you have sram backup?
Try remove the keyboard cable and soft-key (under the screen) cable at the back and turn power on to see what would happen.
(do it gently as you could break the connector)
show us what you see when you select END and try to boot
It briefly shows this message and the screen stays the same when I hit end

It may be lost all NC data, or NC Basic module is loose, or bad. or the mainboard problem.
I can send you some system files for trying but you need and PCMCIA SRAM card.
Currently, you can try to clean the mainboard and its modules.
Take the pictures before removal to make sure you can put it back.
Remove all connectors.
Pull the mainboard out. (send me the picture of the main board with all modules on)
Remove modules and try to clean the contact with alcohol, and cleaner.
put them back and power on to see if there is anything difference.
I am asking for a used 21M system. If it doesn't cost too much, I will send you one to try before buying.

Go in system data check and show us what is there
i think you should have also a file called NC1_OPTN in the FROM,is that correct?
I don’t show that file, here is what I have.
