Difference between a02b-0247-b755 and a02b-0247-b805

I want to change the control system of my Danobat machine, the current control system is a02b-0247-b755. The control system suggested to me is a02b-0247-b805.
What is the difference between these two controllers?
Can these two systems be installed together?
Wouldn't it require a new sram and pmc program?

I'm not sure they're too different. The last 4 numbers are revisions, so might just be improved hardware or rom's

the A02B-0247-B805 is a Basic Unit B13 with a 10.4" LCD, Color, 0 Slots, with Softkeys and capable of PMC type -SA5/SB6
the A02B-0247-B755 is a Basic Unit B13 with a 10.4".LCD.Color, 0 Slots capable of only PMC type -SA5
the mainboards and CPUs are different , the system software version and edition are different.
also the graphic card,the servo card etc must match the mainboard so that is why i am curious what you are trying to do

I want to replace the new model

Is it suitable?

Indeed, I've only ever seen two Fanuc OT controllers in a Nakamura twin turret machine with a sub spindle. One OT for each side spindle and turret, switchable on screen between system 1 and 2.

i need the Fanuc serial number for both controllers to check
the Fanuc serial number starts with EXXXXXX and is on the label n the back side of the controller or on the side of the controller

The a02b-0247-b805 is next generation of controller with a 2 years difference between this and the B755
As on the first look,the SRAM,FROM,CPU ,DISPLAY AND SERVO are the same ,i could not say about capacity of the SRAM FROM if the new controller has bigger than the old one,if it so it is ok,if not you have to switch,but there is a diference on the PC side ,the windows CPU's are different,in the B805 is mounted a MMX Pentium 64MB.
I assume that you are running in a windows 95 system.
Theoretical you can move to the new controller but you need a GURU to do it and make it run
it will be very challenging if you do it by yourself,better contact Fanuc or somebody authorised.
I did not ask what is the failure on the old system?? Why can not you repair that?
