that is the diagnostic data starts from 300
you can input the diagnose like the sam eway as parameters

    Now I'm more confused.

I have complete Parameter listing that came with the machine. What I have is
    N0300 P 00000000

but when I skip through the parameters on the screen 0300 looks like a decimal value option not binary.

    See here.

The next question is, Tmr 1 located at D300 and has a value of 60000 from the printouts.

The biggest number I can enter is 255.

The timer address numbers step in 5's so I assume that 60000 would cover a few registers.

    Maybe D301 = 75
    D302 = 235 (235 * 255 = 59925)

Lastly D560 - 565 are keep relays and have a few binary settings

The screen shows more like drive parameters

so not sure what to do here.

you are looking in the wrong page
you need to be in the diagnose page
you send pictures from parameter page

My mistake. I've never paged down far enough in the diagnostics to see the other registers.

It won'l let me enter 60000 in D0300.

    Maybe I can download it.

On the otherhand some of the PNC must have been automatically populated . I never entered the tool numbers.

Cant enter by hand or cable.

Looks like these are protected. Any idea on how to unprotect ?

before entering the diagnose change the parameter 19 bit 7 ,restart the machine than send by cable

According to my OMD manual Parameter 19 bit 7 is DBCD. If = 1 the timer/counter values shown in Decimal
    If = 0 then binary.

The original value was 1000 0000.

I can't believe that 1100 people have looked at this post. What an active forum.

I have some movement on the machine when I press and hold the EM button. I get a contactor come in and then a servo error 434. On the drive, I get A -> Z drive. Maybe the brake is stuck or not releasing.

However in researching faults, errors etc, I'm wondering if I can reprogram the EPROMS. The ladder logic has been disabled for viewing.

I have a complete set of listings but having the option to view, I’d be in a much better state.

So is the viewing ladder option in the EPROMS or in the diagnostics.

Here are some of the options from the printouts.

    R597.1 PAS ENT PASSWORD ENTER
R597.2 PASLDR PASSWORD FOR LADDER DISPLAY
    R597.3 LOOSET MACHINE LOCKING SET
R597.4 PASCAN PASSWORD CANCEL FOR TIME OUT
    R597.5 LDRENT LADDER ENTER
    R597.6 CANENT LOCK CANCEL ENTER
    R597.7 LCSETV LOCK SET VALUE

    R598.0 LCSET2 LOCK SET VALUE
    R598.1 LCSTR1 LOCK START AUX1
    R598.2 LCSTR2 LOCK START AUX2
    R598.3 LCSTR3 LOCK START PULSE
    R598.4 TMOUT1 TIME OUT 1
    R598.5 TIMEOU TIME OUT
    R598.6 PSCAN PASSWORD CANCEL

I presume the original EPROMS are copy protected. If not whoohoo. I then have to find out how to bypass the diagnostic lock if that is what it is. What software can I use to view and edit the ladder?
Making parts with the machine is great, but getting it to run wakes me up each day. Oh dear I'm an engineering nerd.

Should I start an new post with EPROMS ?

The two on the far right are the ladder eproms; the system ones are below.
