G71 canned cycle is not retracting off of the part.
Hi, I need help figuring out why my machine (daewoo puma) fanuc 16i series, is acting weird during a G71 canned cycle. After it finishes the profile pass, instead of retracting off of the part, it goes backwards on the profile again before going off of the part. I suspect a parameter has been changed to make it do this because it didn't use to do it before. I nearly crap my pants the first time I saw it go backwards down the profile it just finished cutting. It uses a rapid move when it's going backwards on the profile. I'm fairly new to cnc machining so any help would be great and it would make my job a whole lot easier
