    Default Mori Seiki SV-500

Just got called to see this machine. It doesn't start when pressing the start button first thing in the morning. After several minutes, it starts as if nothing was wrong. Owner doesn't have maintenance manuals. I've done an exhaustive google search to no avail. I need the ladder to see how the start circuit is set up.

If anybody has a copy or pdf files, please let me know.

    Regards

This sounds like a power supply issue. The problem will be which one.

Check optional equipment. Could be something is leaving the EStop circuit open until it starts up. Like the spindle chiller.

You can turn power on with main power switch. Fans start but when you press the start button on operator's panel nothing happens. After a few minutes, you press the start button it chimes and screen comes on. When it's cold it takes longer.

I'll do as you say. I'll check power supply.

If you have a schematic of starting circuit I will really appreciate it.
