Error 71 ----------------The Address to be searched for was not found ---------------means the program or macro address is not there

so i had an issue where an operator went about fixing this error and wiped programs that were in the machine since we got it, now it wont let me put in more than two programs when we had at least 10 decent sized ones.

throws the 71 error even though program name is not taken in the machine

There is an optional parameter i think increases the memory size thats why i ask
When your are the machines create 3 or four sub programs with almost nothing in it and see if the control can recognize them
    M98 P8000
M98 P8001 and just put and M99 in the subs for return --Will show if its memory size or something else

Your hunch was right threw the same 071 alarm while trying to make the sub program, there are no prior sub programs in the control

Yeah we have two the controllers are like a year apart or something they are OM machines though, they said they are the only two in the states. It's been fun getting them back up and peeling steel.

We ended up just wiping the programs on it, and starting fresh. So far no issues.
