how to do password protect for fanuc series Oi-TD parameter edit screen lock even though PWE in MDI mode from zero to one. After servicing soft limit for x axis and z axis in CNC centerless grinding is edited by shopfloor operators which is not a good practice.

Someone has to put the machine into MDI and change the PWE and then go and change parameter screen ?------If they do this unauthorized then first written warning or termination for safety violation end of !--Could seriously injure someone

If you set parameter 3299.0 (PKY) then PWE becomes protected. The only way to un protect it is to change 3299.0 back to a 0. This has to be set on the settings page where PWE is. You just page down till you find it.
