Leadwell MCV-OP w.Fanuc OM-A Control - no auto/mdi
Ive recently purchased this old machine (1987), I had to restore all the parameters, im missing the 9000 programs- but I dont know if that affects this problem:
I can home all axis, I can move them all, orient and run the spindle in MPG/INC modes.
I cannot get the AUTO/MDI modes to run any code.
The cycle-start button does return the right switches in the diagnostics, so physically working. Its like the PMC isnt communicating with the CNC to actually run code.
I cant for the life of me figure out the ladder (printed with near invisible ink in the manual) to find out of im missing anything.
I don't know fanuc ladders at all, but im learning- searched through every site and post i could find. Most posts just die out without posting results.

did you load diagnostic too?
sent the ladder on a pdf document we will try to figure it out for you.
did the signal for the switches work in diagnostic???
when you switch to mdi or auto do you see the inputs in the diagnostic page?
Re: Leadwell MCV-OP w.Fanuc OM-A Control - no auto/mdi
Ill have to take pics of the book with the ladder in it and put it in a pdf.
Yes i loaded diagnostic, 900, every item in the parameters up to 8300 or something. Did a factory reset (had to unplug M1 connector to get the 900s to go in) and reloaded everything by the book.

When its switched to mdi and auto i believe the inputs change as well, i have to double check. Its my first dealing with fanuc ladders and it was making my head spin- but im getting there.
Thanks for the help!
