Question Fanuc M6 lathe hardware issue file transfer

    Hi guys,

we have an Fanuc 6M lathe.

it was transferring NC program before, but not i'm not able upload or download any programs.

I've change the wire and the punch card.

it does not get me any error just says on LSK when i do O-9999 INPUT. i don't have any alarm code. and the programs i was able to transfer them before and it was working.

should i change the main board ? (motherboard) i don't see light that would indicate an error.

pretty sure the issue is hardware relate but i don't know what to change anymore.

    any thought
    thanks

no first remove RS232 cable and press input button on controller and if it shows alarm 86 or 85 means your machine port is ok, after replace PC or RS232 port on pc and set port no on DNC software and check your problem will get solved
