Hi guys i need help with fixing Over Travel alarm on a fanuc o-m series
I am learning how to oparate this machine and i had an OT problem, the mavhine is reporting a 530 Z axis problem and it is nolonger moving in any direction or axis what can i do, the cnc milling machine is an old one 1993 - 1998 version
When an over travel occurs, you should be able to move the machine in the -Z direction by putting your mode switch in Jog, Rapid, or Handle and try the -Z button. Once you move it a little ways and hit Reset the alarm will clear.
Are you saying it doesn't work even trying the things I just listed?
On our Fanuc oi-tc there is a button on the side of the panel you hold in while trying to move the axis the opposite way. Once you get it moved just hit reset.
