    Lightbulb Fanuc OM VMC First Make

    Friends my Email id is thirumalamew@gmail.com, i recently faced problem with umbrella tyoe ATC not able to tool change as due to some reason the Zaxis home position is not matching . please help me.

    On your type of VMC the ATC ("Automatic Tool Changer") height is fixed. So to execute a toolchanger the Z-axis must return to the proper height to match the height of the ATC pockets. You control the Z-axis by altering the parameter #710 for G28 / 1st ref. position ("Home") or by the parameter #738 for the 2nd ref. position depending upon how the MTB ("Machine Tool Builder") designed it. Next you need to determine which ref. position the Z-axis moves to when you command "Txx M06;" for a toolchange. What happens when you command a toolchange? What alarm(s) are you seeing?
