Fanuc OMB reading eprom, editing ladder through DOS or upgrade to OMC?

Hello All,

So I have a Kiwa excel Fanuc OMB

cannot drip feed
cannot activate G127.5 through diag

looks like I need to edit the ladder

I need help with identifying the eprom, reading it, editing the file.

Does anybody here have experience with this, can advise some help in the right direction?

Another option is to upgrade to OMC, is this possible?

this guy did exactly what you are talking about, both editing the ladder and c version upgrade.

As you can see, it took a literal genius and it took him a while.

Your best bet is to see if you cant contact him or the people in that thread. You might reach out to any old arcade game collectors groups in your area as they use ROM technology. Just dont let them experiment on your roms.

I was hoping some of his contacts ( whom I don't think he mentions) might catch this post.

Not genius, just step by step with a little help.

basics I understand, just need a few details and a little guidance with the following:

identify and remove eprom,
copy eprom and download to PC,
convert files to FLADDER (not sure where to get that just yet)
edit the ladder in FLADDER
erase eprom,
write eprom
