How long since the machine was last run?
So I have a VMC Super max1 Rebel With Fanuc Series 0-M.

Or this
The servo tune screen screen (2nd soft button) has some more info including alarms. I'd have to dig deep into the books to find out what they mean, There are normally a few 1's there even when things are normal.
When normal they should look like this. I have the same servos as you in my Max 3. (Motor ID 8 = Alpha C6)
The servo tune screen will look like this when normal.
Alarm 1 00000000
Alarm 2 00000000
Alarm 3 10000100
Alarm 4 00000000
Did you try pushing the "message" soft key (3rd one) when you had the alarm screen up?
What about inside the control cabinet? For the 3rd time, do any numbers show up on the servo drives???
09 flashes for a second then it goes to - -
I don't see Alarm 09 being a servo alarm but a spindle alarm having to do with a fan possibly not operating. Or an overheat alarm.
Do yourself a favor and google Fanuc 65165E and download the Fanuc Control Motor Alpha Series Maintenance Manual. cncspares has the /02 updated copy which is what you want for a machine of your vintage. There is tons in there that will help you along. including the Alarm 09 you're looking at.
There is little I'm going to be able to help you with without being there and having greater access to what's going on.
If you want to get this thing up and running quickly, you might just consider calling in a service person.
Ok thanks for your help, have a good holiday.
