Default 15M CRT to LCD conversion

The Fanuc 15M CRT is pretty dim and burned in. Still works but I figured I'd replace it with an LCD for better clarity. I ordered one off ebay that said it was compatible will all 9" CRT screens. Of course I ordered the cheapest one ($170). It arrived today. Plugged it in and all I get is a flickering black screen. OSD works so I know the monitor works. If I unplug the honda connector the OSD is stable, with it connected it appears and disappears quickly due to the signal. So I get out a mirror and discover my CRT is a A61L-0001-0092 and the new LCD is marked A61L-0001-0093. Is there a frequency and/or cabling difference between the A61L-0001-0092 and A61L-0001-0093?

Doing some investigation it appears the monitor I purchased is this one:
    FANUC A61L-0001-0093 LCD monitor

It also appears that aiderry (the manufacturer) has a model specific to the 0092.
    FANUC A61L-0001-0092

Rather than shipping it back to HK I might just swap the converter board if I can source one easily. Any ideas?

Thanks for the details. The return post was prohibitive. I'm still using the old CRT. I assumed the LCD panel is the same on each model with a different driver/controller. I was hoping to just purchase the driver board rather than replacing the entire unit.

We are working on a universal 9" crt replacement that eliminates the problem of needing different models.

    Try these guys: https://www.ebay.com/itm/VGA-LCD-Con...r/162708327950
and tell them what panel you have and what your signal specs from the the control. You will have to make up a cable and do a little research but I think it is doable. Is this a 15 A or is it a later control. I think you are right that the panels are basically the same.

This universal VGA solution cannot be used in FANUC's old CRT display.

we have FANUC A61L-0001-0092 LCD monitor can use A61L-0001-0093, A61L-0001-0092, A61L-0001-0076,A61L-0001-0086,A61L-0001-0072,Its price is slightly higher.
Can be adjusted by OSD for different FANUC machines.
