I can't find them in the "MTB" folders. Anybody know how to do this?

I meant one of the G80 canned cycles. G84, for instance. I want to see how Fanuc programs a G84 canned cycle.

This help ya?
Hi ezzywave,
Just like most Fanuc's, if you want Rigid Tapping:
( f.e. TAP M8X1.25 Metric )
G95 ( MM/REV )
M29 S500
G84 Z-15. R5. F1.25
G80
G94 ( MM/MIN )
or only G94 mode:
G94 ( MM/MIN )
M29 S500
G84 Z-15. R5. F625 ( FEED = SPEED X PITCH = 500X1.25 )
G80
Check here for the Fanuc 30i-31i-32i Model B Operators Manual.

If you are asking about live-tool canned cycles on a lathe, here is a resource.
Yes! I want to see "how Fanuc makes it work under the hood"!
With a G&L 8000 control you can enter a password which will allow you to view and edit all the G80 thru G89 cycles and the probing cycles. The G&L G84 cycle has 8(?) lines and many M codes.
I want to know how the G84 cycle coordinates the spindle rotation with the tapping axis. Or single point threading on a cnc lathe.
I am fairly certain that it is handled differently on the Fanuc from the G&L. If no one chimes in you can always call Fanuc.
Your G&L sounds like they are using macro calls for those cycles, from a Fanuc viewpoint. And Fanuc allows macro calls from G code but I think the classic canned cycle numbers are verboten.
I think Canned cycles are baked in at a much lower level than even the PMC or Ladder. You can alter several things about them with parameters but beyond that I couldnt tell you,
