I haven't really dug into the yellow plastic box controls yet, but I have a couple so it is good information to have stored away for the future. May as well include the versions of software you are using to make it all work together. What are the differences in hardware between the 16 versions and the 18 versions. What does the 18 offer that the 16 lacks?

I have been trying to find FS16/18 Model C Main CPU and both option boards for less than $1,700 ea. Even just a bare CPU board without the cards.

Anyone out there have parameters for any lathe with a FANUC 18T model C? I'd love a copy. Doesnt matter which lathe.

Here is a update to the I/O portion of the build, most of the modules you will need are Digital and 16 point

I/O Unit B: A03B-0807

I used one module per part number and this should be plenty for the 10 slot interface.
