    Default Laptop connection

    Bridgeport Hardinge GX600 Fanuc 0iMD

I want to have a laptop directly connected to this machine for direct files transfers from pc to cnc, it has a ethernet and rs232 socket and and embedded card? - see images - this is where my knowledge stops. I don't work to network the pc, I won't to work at the cnc

I'm assuming I should be able to connect the pc with a ethernet cable? crossover cable?

Anyone give me any insights or point me to some instructions on the process?

    Cheers in advance

Best way is to buy Fanuc program transfer tool (around €20) Connect pc to cnc by ethernet. (Type of cable doesn’t matter) Set you pc ip adres in the same range 192.168.1.xxx Set machine ip in program transfer tool and that’s it.
