    Default G code problem - Fanuc Series 21i-MB

    Hello.
    I have a 4 axis (XYZC) cnc router that has Fanuc Series 21i-MB controller.
    I try to make a post processor for artcam all work fine except spindle that does not rotate...

    For example with this code all movements done correct except spindle that does not rotate.

    From MDI with M3 S6000 the spindle rotates ok.
    What can be wrong and the spindle does not rotate ?

    An other cam that i have produces this code and the spindle with this code rotates.
    What means the / before M codes? What is the difference between M3 S6000 and /M3 S6000 ?
    Also the command M6 T0 parks the tool that is on the spindle ?

    the code is ok,must be something from machine side that is not set correct,like a door or safety switch.

    The difference between /M3 S6000 and M3 S6000 is that a slash in the beginning of a line will be ignored when Block Delete is on. (a button or switch on the control)

    Iam not on machine now to make video but it moves correctly and spindle does not rotate.
    Someone told me that the reason that does not rotates is that i have not M6 T_ command in my code to load tool.
    Tool has put on manually before program run by hand...
    Machine has automatic tool change with 26 tools magazine.

    Your first program you say doesn't rotate the spindle and there is no tool change. It doesn't make sense since M3 S6000 works in MDI
    If M6 T_ is the problem then the program should stop on that line and throw an error.

    So because no alarm something other happens ...
    The monday i will go to machine and will check again.
    The second program rotates ok the spindle also from MDI M3 S6000 rotates ok.
