Harrison 400t lathe

I’ve inherited a Harrison 400t lathe just for a bit of hobby work, it appears to be all mechanically fine. I seem to have a problem with the reset. On the display it’s says press reset I’ve tried that but pressing the reset button doesn’t seem work!
Has anyone ever experienced this or am I doing something wrong

Is it a exclammation mark in the bottom left of screen ?
