Fanuc OMC parameters

Hi
I have a problem on parameter 916 bit 1. Change from 0 to 1 for serial spindle option.
Contol then requests control to be turned off. When i boot up parameter has changed back
to 0.Any ideas as everything is operational except the spindle. The machine is a Supermax
machining centre. Thanks in advance.

Try changing 9920 bit 6 to 1
Then try it

I dont have 9000 parameters only 8000

either your hardware or your software (or both) doesn't support the serial spindle.

i think your spindle driver ,in the back of the machine-electrical cabinet,has a 4 digits display ,yellow ,where you set up the parameters for spindle and not in the screen.
