    Default skip command

I am working on reverse engineering a touch probe and integrating it into the machine. I need to know what does skip mean and how is it used( not skip command in code '/')

In Fanuc controls the skip command is usually a G31, it’s non-modal. When one or more axes are moving in G31 move the axes will stop immediately when a skip signal is input to the control from the probe or other device. Once the motion stops the program proceeds to the next line in the program.

    Hope this helps.

And, make sure you use the controls 24vdc power, not a machine side. They are typically normally closed and open when triggered.
