FANUC 15M Parameters 9000 how to enter?

just to add, if you only have a hard copy you can first punch the parameters as-is then edit the file with any text editor just changing the 9000-series numbers to what your machine needs. then save the file and read it back into the machine through the serial port.
note this works for ANY Fanuc control except the very latest 31i/32i etc

fordav11, to my knowledge the param 8000 trick only works on the 15A.

Yes, I'm aware the 8000 PWE parameter is specific to the 15-series.
I'm specifically referring to punching parameters, edit file adding options, and then read parameters back into machine.

I have a backup of parameters,pitch,etc. for my 15M at work.Maybe you can used those.You transfer them to the machine the same way you transfer programs.And I don't think you need a password.I know I don't.

Hello, I’m having the same problem, We are stuck at the IPL, we lost power to controller when the batteries went dead. Not sure if we need password. Can any one help with this? Thank you.

Dear all!

Recently I had ram parity error (base0) error on this machine. Battery was never changed so memory was cleared and I lost all the parameters! Therefore, I cleared all the memory and I entered again by hand all the parameters. Machine started now without alarm but I cannot enter parameters from 9000-9020, 9100-9139. This parameters are important because number of axes are stored there etc. Now I have number of axes by default: 1, so I can drive only one axe )
I called Fanuc guy and he said that it requires a password for this parameteres. What kind of password?? Where to enter?
Also, on papers I found some timers and I entered them also. What about counter, keeprly, Data table data? Does anyone knows how looks like printout of this additional parameters? What else I have to enter in the machine, what to take care of?
