How do you punch out ( download ) the parameter list for this machine via RS 232 port?

I would like to create a backup just in case.

    Thank you.

I would like to know how to do this also. I can punch to hyper terminal but I am not sure if it is in the right format.

I think you can just go to parameter page and hit punch if I remember correctly. That will only get the NC side though. I would and do manually write down the PMC side parameters. Good thing is though, Mori has backups of those machines you can get hard copies of if you really get in trouble.

The format should look something like this.
    N0P00000000
    N3P00000000
    N10P00000001
    N11P00000011
    N12A1P00001000A2P00000000A3P00000000A4P00000000A5P 00000000A6P00000000A7P00000000A8P00000000A9P000000 00A10P00000000
    N13P00000000
    N14P00000000
    N15P00000000
    N16P0
    N17P0
    N18P0
    N20P1
    N21P1

Also here is a link to another thread in which I have attached the wiring guide and settings for the 10series control. The PMC timers, counters, keeprelays etc can not be sent out via RS232 and must be written down. There is a blank form attached in this that thread for getting the proper data.

not 100% sure about the F10 control but

On the older machines normally you hold E.O.B then push Output

this outputs the 900 parameters with the others

It's not the same as the Oseries control. On the 10series there will be softkey options for a "punch" "ALL" when in the service/settings pages. This will send out all of the parameters including the opition parameters.

The only thing I can't remember is if you need PWE bit active or not. It's been a long time on this series control but IIRC PWE does not matter. Punch, ALL will send them out regardless.

To download tha parameters you don´t need the PWE to be on.
