I see many people had experience with old 3T Lathe system from Fanuc so im checking what can i do with my machine to make it more productive - less time for programing and typing and more time for production.
some kind of DNC would be great since i already have camworks and solidworks for haasVF1 mill
First, you need to verify that it actually has a working RS-232 port.
The last 3T I ran into only had a tape reader.
If not, you can either go to Fanuc and see if it is available, or find someone that can install a BTR on the machine.
BTR = Bypass Tape Reader.
