    Anyone have a fanuc 10m with 80m of tape memory, need your help. I have one with 40m of memory and can trade you for information on this. I have all option parameters for many control's (besides the parameter to increase from 40m to 80m on the fanuc 10m)

    Default Fanuc 10m

    Hi guys

    I have attached the machine spec sheet along with a quote that fanuc sent me. I have circled two numbers on the fanuc quote(one for 40m and 80m)
    On my spec sheet it says tape stroage length max 40m anlong with a number that is the same on the fanuc quote. Has anyone seen this before.
    I have installed all the parts (ADD MEM card and chips) and still only have 410 pages of memory.I can see jumpers on the mother board can this be possible they need moving.

    Check this site to see if you can find help: http://www.memex.ca/support/index.html

    They offer mem-upgrades and you can download the installation guides for them. You might find what your looking for.

    Default fanuc 10m

    I have come to find out that 410 pages of memory is the max. for this control(fanuc 10m modal A)I started out with 195 pages of mem. if any of you guys want to increase the mem. on their control email me at mroy7@cogeco.ca I can help.
    I will also have the tape mode enabled vary soon and will give an update for that.

    Mike Roy

    1 page = 78 characters

    78 x 410 = 31980 characters

    31980 = almost 32K

    There should be plenty of instruction using Google, or use an engineering calculator to convert, just take four bits at a time in Binary and convert to Hex 0 to F,
    Or you could post the particular word you want converted here.
