Default 800T: Constant Surface Speed not Working (Set Relative to Machine Zero)

A problem on a Fagor 800T controller. When in constant surface speed mode, the machine operates as if the zero was the machine zero rather than the part zero. The machine zero is right at the bottom of the machine, nowhere near the center line.

Furthermore, the machine checks the max RPM using some formula, throwing an error that the MAX RPM is exceeded, even when the the actual RPM doesn't go over the max RPM, and even if the CSS mode max speed is limited to max rpm (or below).

    What could be the issue?

    Tool offsets were zero.

Fault found, the tool offset must be set or this happens. Not only must it be set, it must be set relative to the machine zero or incorrect results occur.
