Default Rotary axis parameter...need help changing

    Hi all,

I'm new to the industrial machines. Halfway understand the hobby side of cnc machines.

I have Fagor controlled cnc router, 8055i control. The B or rotary axis somehow shifted about 3 degrees. I went into the B axis parameter and changed parameter 47, refshift, which is what the manual said, but it did not do anything? Its like the machine did not recognize the new value. I think I am missing something like how does the Fagor control recognize changes to the parameter.

I shut the machine down, and restarted it, my change was still there, but I could not get the rotary axis to recognize the new value.

    Thanks

If you have an absolute axis, the parameter you should change should be ABSOF, or PP177 or pp178.... that all depends on the connection or type of encoder you have in you system.
