If it's a FAGOR 8055TC the batery is in the rack. If your control is an 8055i TC the batery is behind the cnc. Be careful You must replace it with power on CNC. Maybe you should backup before work with the battery
My work has a Dalian CKE6140 lathe, with a Fagor 8055 controller, and when I powered it up yesterday I got a CNC Battery error come on the screen. I am assuming this means the back-up battery needs to be replaced, but I have no idea where this battery is located.
Does anyone know where this battery is located?
Thanks

I just checked what comes up on the display and it is 8055i B/T .
So does that mean the battery is located behind the controller display?
It is small black box on the back of the power supply board next to the power connector. Undo the screws and pull it out, there is a short wire with a connector on it. Don't disconnect it unless the power is on. Inside there is a single 3.3v lithium cell if you want to change it otherwise you have to by a new complete box and they are not cheap.
Do you mean the power supply in the main cabinet or inside the display cabinet?
Here is a photo of the main cabinet showing the power supply unit on the left, along with the servo controllers. No black battery box is visible on the outside of the power supply.

Thank you
It will be inside the display cabinet most likely. If you type Fagor 8055 into google and look at the images you will see a control unit which consists of a power supply, cpu board, and an axis board all side by side. The battery is the small black box at the bottom by the black mains power connector. It should have Fagor written on it.
Your CNC is a 8055I TC. The battery is Behind the CNC Remove the keyboard and look behind.
