I've read everything I can find on here and everyone seems to have a BNC connector on their Fadal. I have a 2003 with 1990-1C pendant board. It has a VGA output and I've been trying to find a wiring diagram that tells me what the outputs are, or someone that makes an adapter cable to a standard 15pin VGA to fit my LED monitor.
Has anyone successfully connected a LED monitor to the Fadal VGA output?
It has been a longtime since I have used a BNC monitor cable, but as I recall that is the same as an old composite signal, which used to be a yellow cable with an RCA plug.
Little late to the party. GOTO itscnc.com look for resources, wiring diagrams and look through the choices and you will find the answer. Your machine was prewired with a VGA cable already more than likely. I had to get the VGA board for the bird cage to replace my old board for color monitor and buy the extra VGA board in the pendant. I wired up a lcd monitor screen with VGA for the vmc screen and use the new monitor remote to change I put to USB for the NUC computer in my pendant. Works great! I can get on the net right from the Fadal with no issues and is a wireless. I got the same monitor as Aaron Gouge. The monitor was $110 from alibaba. Well worth the money as the color screen is nice.
