Extended Z Axis

I need to use the area above the CS Position for clearance, Do I need to use the Set Ho Command? It has the Extended Z Axis.

You could set the second home then use G28, or just use G28 then a G91 Z3.0
That would go to CS Z0 then go up another 3" right?
