3016 control slowing up and needs to be reset often
Weird issue that started ocuuring on our 3016L AC -5 machine. maybe someone can enlighten me. After a half day the machine suddenly doesn’t take my cd, dir, at commands and sits doing nothing. If I change to jog it slowly moves to the jog screen opening a numeral at a time or if menu opened it takes 2 minutes to load the menu page and I can no longer use the machine without shutting down and restarting. its basically like a laptop when it freezes during a render and you can’t do anything. The control cabinet felt warm but no errors of any kind. Any idea what may be going on?

No idea if yours is for the same reason but, are you running a Calmotion USB box? If so, go reboot it by removing the power to the box for a few seconds then reconnecting.
Mine will do the same thing, and once I reboot the Calmotion box all is fine.
