    Default Spindle FAN

    Hello,
I'm old spindle fan took a big chip inside and now is broken.
In romania is pretty hard to find anything with 115v.... someone can help me with this info:
From where to take a connection 220v AC without interfere with anything else, just for the spindle fan.

    Best regards,

What voltage do you have your machine set up for? If it's set up for 220 volt 3 phase, then just take the fan leads to L1 & L2 for 220. Should be able to get it from the same taps your spindle inverter inputs are on.

Actually, it shouldn't matter what voltage you have going to your machine. L1 & L2 going to your VFD for the spindle should still be 220.

Do you know where the fan is connected in the cabinet?

Looks like #29 #30 on Terminal Board 1, which should be all 120 vac. See Lower Side.

Spindle FAN-spindlefan-pngI mentioned you could get it after the contactors at 2 legs L1 & L2 at the VFD drive or the power supply to the Servo Drives.
