    The Fadal VMC40 came out in 1983 at a price of $49,900 first American Machine under $50k ,and Gene was one of their First 100 or so customers i guess he was inspired.

    No that was manufactured by Fadal probably in 1978-79 for there first VMC the VMC45 which was a dual arm tool changer 4 speed geared head machine, 45 taper rare
